![]() Our journey to healing leads us to surprising and sometimes uncomfortable places. I am speaking of emotional healing not really physical. We all have periods in our lives we need to recover from something or another. How we approach this healing journey can have a huge impact on how long it takes and the end result. This type of journey requires courage, faith and determination to stay with the process and allow it to lead us where we need to go. Too often we start the journey and abandon it too soon. or allow other issues to cloud and separate us from the journey. In the modern world of health, we are taught to look at our symptoms and find a way to alleviate them. Instead of dealing with the true issue we cover up the symptoms. But in reality our symptoms are the language or body, mind and spirit are using to get us to pay attention to a deeper issue. We all have a healing power within ourselves. It exists within us, it's part of our intuition and our spirit. Different life events awaken this awareness of healing. Allowing ourselves the opportunity to heal naturally is one of the best things we can do. When we are on a journey and feeling depressed, there is a reason for it. Allowing our spirit to heal without covering up the symptoms will result in a deeper healing. To heal and evolve, we have to face things within ourselves that we do not like, that we feel we may never be able to overcome, or that we just don't want to see. None of us wants to be in pain, yet we have to trust the discomfort and uneasiness that leads us to seek change and healing. If we can learn to view discomfort as our ally, we may be able to activate the healing process more quickly. Once you allow the natural healing process to take charge the depth and intensity of your journey to healing Will bring great benefits. We are given the gift of seeing our courage, tenacity, faith and determination as we face the healing process. We experience healing grace in our lives and we find an intimate relationship with our spirituality.
